The majority of all meetings with simultaneous interpretation in the US do not require a relay system. Relay systems are used when presentations are held in multiple languages, and all interpreters need to be interfaced with each other through a central processor in order to listen in to interpreters who "relay the translated message" for all others, including the English speaking audience as well as fellow interpreters in other booths.
ProLingo works with multi-language systems from various manufacturers.
In Europe we work with systems from Auditel, Braehler, and Bosch.
Asian events are generally covered with Auditel, Bosch or Gonsin (not approved by the FCC for use in the US without modification)
In the US and Latin America we work with Auditel as well as BOSCH systems.
The perfect interpreter control unit for bi-directional interpreting does now exist, at a fair price.
ProLingo just took delivery of the new Congress Audio developed 2-channel interpreter control unit. 50 stand alone bi-directional units as well as relay setups are available for cross rental and show at this time, selling fast.
We are so excited about the arrival of this interpreter control unit that we have pre-ordered no less than 100 units for rental and sale. This will give ProLingo the largest inventory of interpreter control units anywhere in the US, if not the world, ready for cross rental, show rental, and sale.
Please note that interpreter controls manage the audio coming to and from the interpreter's booth. Interpreter control units do not actually transmit. Please call us to determine which components are needed to complete your prefect interpretation system.
