INTERPRETER CONTROLS

ProLingo's Interpreter Controls are changing with the ever changing demands of our clients.

All our equipment purchasing and system design follows some strict criteria:

Interpreter Control Units need to be modular, allowing stand-alone operation for mono or bi-directional meetings requiring interpretation for one language pair, say Spanish <> English.

·	Interpreter Control Units need to have the capability of interfacing with other language setups through a general management system like a central processor.
·	Interpreter Control Units must have multiple audio inputs for relay operation, and multiple audio outputs for bi-directional interpreting.
·	Interpreter Control Units must have individual audio control for each input and output allowing the technician to balance all levels.
·	Interpreter Control Units must have floor audio passthroughs on all outputs, and a dedicated switch to turn those off if desired. This allows for continuous audio, constant language broadcast, with individual volume control for all attendees.
·	Interpreter Control Units must be easy to operate for all interpreters and labeled clearly.
·	Interpreter Control Units must be constructed sturdy to withstand the daily abuse in cross continent shipping with express carriers. Buttons cannot simply break off.
·	Interpreter Control Units must have professional audio connectivity such as recessed XLR jacks.

The majority of all meetings with simultaneous interpretation in the US do not require a relay system. Relay systems are used when presentations are held in multiple languages, and all interpreters need to be interfaced with each other through a central processor in order to listen in to interpreters who "relay the translated message" for all others, including the English speaking audience as well as fellow interpreters in other booths.

ProLingo works with multi-language systems from various manufacturers.

In Europe we work with systems from Auditel, Braehler, and Bosch.

Asian events are generally covered with Auditel, Bosch or Gonsin (not approved by the FCC for use in the US without modification)

In the US and Latin America we work with Auditel as well as BOSCH systems.
